This is the 8th annual retreat for First Presbyterian Church. The focus is on a relaxing time sharing with our speaker about being "Prepared for Life" in our spirit, mind and body. Cost for 3 nights lodging and 5 meals is $120.00. For those able to arrive by 6:00 on Friday evening the meal cost for that night is $9.50 additional.

You’re invited to join the "Sacred Conversation" blog:
Is God talking to us? Are we listening?
We are in the midst of a deep shift in human history and the life of the church that demands prayerful informed reflection by all followers of Jesus Christ. The session of the congregation adopted a proposal in November 2007 for a congregational sacred conversation as a spiritual discipline during Lent.
The purposes of this sacred conversation are:
- To seek God’s direction and call for the church
- To deepen our level of conversation about God and the church
- To hear from some key Christian thinkers of the day
- To seek some answers to important questions i.e. Why church? What makes a church a church? What does it mean to be Christian in the 21st century? What is God calling us as the church to be and do?
